These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Inviteease, a service operated by Inviteease Event Services ("Inviteease," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at inviteease.app. By creating an account or using Inviteease, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Inviteease is an event management platform that allows a person ("Host") to create an event and collect responses from attendees ("Guests") — either as RSVPs from invited individuals, or as open registrations from anyone with the event link — manage a guest list, and use related tools such as seating charts, check-in, and guest messaging. References to "RSVP" in these Terms include registration sign-ups unless stated otherwise. Inviteease offers a Free plan and a paid "Host" plan, purchased on a per-event basis.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Host account.
3.1 Free Plan. The Free plan is provided at no cost, subject to the feature limits described on our Pricing page (including a guest cap and feature restrictions). We may change Free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.
3.2 Host Plan. The Host plan is a one-time, per-event payment, not a subscription. Payment is processed via Paystack (for Nigerian users) or Stripe (for international users). Pricing is displayed in the applicable currency at checkout.
3.3 Early Booking Discount. Hosts who purchase the Host plan a specified number of months before their event date receive a percentage discount as described on our Pricing page at the time of purchase. This discount is locked in at the time of payment and does not change if the event date is later modified, except as described in Section 3.5.
3.4 RSVP Timing for Discounted Events. Events purchased under the early booking discount will have their public RSVP or registration page open to Guests beginning three (3) months before the event date. Prior to that date, the event link will display a holding page indicating that responses are not yet open. Hosts acknowledge this restriction at the time of purchase.
3.5 Early Unlock. A Host who purchased an early-booking-discounted event may unlock full RSVP access before the automatic three-month opening by paying an unlock fee equal to the amount originally discounted from the standard price. This fee is calculated automatically and displayed to the Host before payment.
3.6 Date Changes. If a Host changes an event's date after purchasing a discounted Host plan, and the change would affect the discount tier originally granted, a date change fee may apply, as described on our Pricing page. This fee will always be less than the total amount saved through the discount.
3.7 Refunds. Payments for the Host plan are generally non-refundable once an event has been created and any Host features have been used, except where required by applicable law or at our discretion in cases of demonstrable service failure on our part. Contact us at inviteeasehq@gmail.com to request a refund review.
As a Host, you are solely responsible for:
— The accuracy of event details you publish
— Obtaining any consents required by law before adding a Guest's personal information (name, phone number, email, dietary or health-related information) to the platform, particularly under Whitelist RSVP modes where Guests do not directly submit their own information
— The additional questions you choose to add to your RSVP or registration form, and having a lawful basis to collect the answers — particularly where a question asks for sensitive information (such as health-related details)
— Complying with applicable data protection law (including Nigeria's NDPR, or other applicable regional law) with respect to Guest data you collect, upload, or manage through Inviteease
— The content of any messages you send to Guests via the broadcast messaging feature
— Ensuring your event does not violate these Terms or applicable law (see Section 6)
Inviteease acts as a data processor on your behalf with respect to Guest data you submit to the platform; you (the Host) are the data controller for that information under most data protection frameworks.
Guests who RSVP to or register for an event provide their information directly to the Host via the Inviteease platform. By submitting an RSVP or registration, a Guest acknowledges that their information (name, contact details, dietary needs, plus-one information, attendance status, and answers to any additional questions the Host has added to their form) will be visible to the Host and processed by Inviteease as described in our Privacy Policy.
Guests may receive event-related emails, post-event follow-ups (such as thank-you notes and invitations to a Host's future events), and occasional messages from Inviteease — including after the event has ended. Every non-transactional message includes an unsubscribe link. Guests who wish to unsubscribe or have their data removed can use that link, contact the Host directly, or contact Inviteease at inviteeasehq@gmail.com if the Host is unresponsive.
You may not use Inviteease to:
— Collect or process Guest data without a lawful basis for doing so
— Send unsolicited commercial messages unrelated to a legitimate event
— Impersonate any person or misrepresent an event's purpose
— Upload unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent content
— Attempt to circumvent guest limits, payment requirements, or security features
— Use the platform for any event promoting violence, discrimination, or illegal activity
— Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.
Inviteease and its original content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Content you upload (event details, guest lists, photos, branding you apply to your RSVP page) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process it solely to provide the service.
Inviteease relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (data storage), Paystack and Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of Inviteease is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant. We are not responsible for outages or failures originating from third-party providers, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain service continuity.
Inviteease is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inviteease and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Inviteease will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Inviteease at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately; certain provisions (including Sections 7, 9, 10, and 13) survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Inviteease after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in the user's home jurisdiction.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to inviteeasehq@gmail.com.
