Plans and payments

A payment needs attention

If a payment arrived but couldn't be applied, your event shows a notice with a reference. Here's what each one means.

Occasionally a payment arrives that InviteEase can't apply automatically, for example because the event changed while checkout was open. When that happens, your event's Overview shows a notice. Only the event's host sees it.

What the notice means

Payment notices
NoticeWhat happened
Payment received. Your upgrade wasn't applied. The event date moved nearer after checkout opened, so the price paid no longer covers it. Your plan and date haven't changed.
We received a second payment for this eventThe event was already upgraded when another payment arrived. Your plan is unchanged.
Payment received. Your requested date wasn't applied. The date had already changed by the time a date-change payment arrived. Your event keeps its current date.
Payment received. It needs a check before anything changes. The amount didn't match what was expected, so nothing on the event was changed.

These payment notices do not themselves stop guest replies. Your event's usual deadline, availability and guest-access rules still apply.

What to do

  1. Don't pay again to fix it.
  2. Select Copy reference, or note the reference shown on the notice.
  3. Select Contact support to message us on WhatsApp with the reference already included, or email inviteeasehq@gmail.com and quote it.

The notice stays on your Overview until the payment has been looked at, so you can find the reference again at any time.
