Design your invitation

Your invitation is the page guests see when they open your link. You can change its design at any time, and guests only see your changes after you save.

Choose a design

1. Open your event and select the Design tab.
2. Under Designs, browse the gallery. Use All, Free or Host to filter it.
3. Select a design. It shows in the preview straight away and is marked Selected · not saved yet. The design guests see now is marked Live design.

Make it yours

Select Customize to adjust the design you've chosen. The sections are:

• Colours & background: accent and supporting colours, appearance and decorations.
• Text style: font pairing and title style.
• Cover & photo: your photo and its shape, on designs that use one.
• Page sections: the event details layout, the countdown and its style, and an optional guest colour palette with a short note for guests (up to 200 characters).
• Form appearance: the style of the reply form.

Preview and save

1. Check the preview beside the editor. Switch between Phone and Desktop to see both sizes. The preview shows your unsaved changes; guests don't see them yet.
2. Select Save changes. You'll see "Saved. Your live invitation shows these changes now."
3. To go back to your last saved design instead, select Discard changes.

If you try to leave with unsaved changes, InviteEase asks whether to leave without saving.

Which designs are included

Free events include the Classic design in five of its looks. Its Modern, Retro and Pearl looks and the other designs are included with Host and Organizer. You can still try them on a Free event before you decide. See Try a Host design before you pay.

If saving doesn't work

• "One of the photos could not be found. Please upload it again." Upload the photo again, then save.
• "Could not save. Please try again." Check your connection and select Save changes again. Your changes stay in the editor.
• Only the event's host can change the design. Team members can't save design changes.
• If your event still uses an earlier InviteEase design, it stays exactly as it is until you choose a design here and save.
