Try a Host design before you pay
On a Free event you can select and customize any Host design. To save it, upgrade the event.
Free events include the Classic design (all but its Modern, Retro and Pearl looks). The other designs are included with Host and Organizer, but you can try them on a Free event first, with your own words, photos and colours.
Try a design
- Open your event and select the Design tab.
- Choose a design labelled Host. It shows in the preview, and the editor says Host design · Upgrade to save.
- Use Customize and the preview as you normally would. Nothing changes for your guests while you try it.
Keep it
- Select Upgrade to save. A window explains what the upgrade includes for this event and shows the current amount.
- Choose a plan if you're offered one, then select Continue to checkout and complete the payment.
- You come back to the Design page with the design you were trying still there. Select Save changes to make it live.
If you leave checkout without paying, the design you were trying is still kept for you, and your guests keep seeing your saved design.
If you decide not to upgrade
Select another design, or Discard changes to go back to your saved one. If you try to leave the page while trying a Host design, InviteEase asks whether to leave without upgrading; your live invitation doesn't change.
An event that has already happened can't be upgraded.
